Dave Lundahl Receives IFT Lifetime Achievement Award ​

The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) is a global organization dedicated to advancing the science of food and its application across the food industry.

The Sensory & Consumer Sciences Achievement Award honors those who have demonstrated excellence in sensory and consumer science research and application.

SUMMARY
Dave Lundahl’s career began as a statistician in food science, developing early sensory data collection systems and addressing key statistical issues. Driven by his passion to develop measures and insights that go beyond liking, he founded InfoSense Data Automation, advanced global testing methods at OSU, and later founded InsightsNow to apply behavioral science to sensory research. Recent work furthers the advancement of innovative measures and insights, including co-inventing a patent for the Implicit/Explicit Test.
