InsightsNow brought the heat to the Quirk’s Event in Chicago last month! We had an absolute blast exhibiting, networking and learning from some of the top leaders in the insights field. But it wasn’t just all fun and games—we also presented “The critical role of insights in achieving sustainability: A panel discussion”, moderated by our very own CEO, Dave Lundahl.

For the panel Dave was joined by a fantastic group of experts, including Katie Marston from PepsiCo, Ashley Stark from Nestlé, Cindy Neumann from the Insights Association, and Mickie French from The Center for Food Integrity. The panel focused on the challenges that sustainability presents to the insights industry, and how companies can adapt to meet these challenges head-on.

Responding to ESG Goals

The business landscape is rapidly evolving as companies seek to adopt more sustainable business practices, greener supply chains, and products that have a smaller environmental footprint. ESG goals and new sustainability metrics are changing the way companies plan and make business decisions. But it’s not just about the bottom line anymore—consumers are also driving change, demanding sustainable products and services. This increased rate of change is forcing companies to innovate and market products in a more sustainable way, which is where the insights industry comes in.

Implement Sustainability Practices Using Insights

During the panel discussion, we shared perspectives on how sustainability is changing insights needs, and how ESG goals and new metrics are changing how insights are used to make business decisions. We also discussed how the insights profession can play a more critical role in delivering actionable insights and evolving best practices to achieve a more sustainable future.

At InsightsNow, we are committed to being part of the solution to reach a more sustainable future. We believe that sustainability is one of the most pressing issues of our time, and we are thrilled to have led this important panel discussion. We look forward to continuing the conversation and finding new ways to innovate and make a positive impact on the world. So join us in the fight for a sustainable future, and let’s make a difference together!
