InsightsNow at the Insights Association Annual Conference

We are looking forward to checking out the Insights Association’s Annual Conference from April 24 to April 26, 2023, in South Carolina. Our Vice President of Research and Insights Kristin Wright will be in attendance—not only to meet and mingle with other insights professionals but to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in market research and data analytics AND speak on DEI solutions for our industry. A varied range of speakers at the conference will be sharing their expertise on data collection and analysis, insights interpretation and storytelling, and new technologies for market research. Look for Kris at the plethora of networking opportunities at the event and her panel discussion noted below on Wednesday—she will also be checking out the latest products and services at the exhibits, and the sessions.

Insights Association Annual Conference Sessions

One conference session we anticipate includes “How Micro-Moments Unlock Innovation Platforms” with Mars Wrigley—where they’ll look at innovation territories for health and wellness in snacks and treats. We talk quite a bit about the “moments mindset” in understanding consumer behavior here at InsightsNow and are looking forward to hearing more from Mars Wrigley. Some other learning opportunities on our radar include: “How Kellogg’s Creates Planograms of the Future using Behavioral Research” on Monday and McDonald’s session on their Global Customer Journey work on Tuesday. Also on Tuesday, a panel discussion we don’t want to miss is “DEI in Insights: 2 Steps Forward & 1 Step Back.”

How to Ask Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Questions

We hope everyone attending the Annual Conference can join on Wednesday at 10:30AM: “How to Ask Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation,” where our Kristin Wright will be speaking. InsightsNow continued our work with the IA IDEA Council project team on this project, building on the previous Race and Ethnicity demographic question study. During this session, the results from their recent work on how to ask Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation in sensitive and inclusive ways will be shared. Also on the panel: Scott Baker from Sago, Lori Walker from Bellomy and Kayte Hamilton from The Social Question. Recommendations formed from the research will surely motivate change in our industry!

Let’s Connect!

We hope to see you at the Insights Association’s Annual Conference—if past experience is any indication, this conference will once again be a fantastic way to enhance market research knowledge and skills and stay ahead in this ever-evolving industry.
